Alan Healey Retires

Alan Healey has recently retired from NMT after 30 years of employment. Alan was the first full-time NMT employee hired by Keith Jefferts and set a precedent of providing excellent customer service and technical support. He began his career at our Shaw Island facility (the only one in existence at the time!) as an assembly technician working on the MKII Coded Wire Tag Injector. While on Shaw, Alan also worked on the tube fish counter, MKIV Coded Wire Tag Injectors, handheld wands, and elastomer tagging machines. Alan was the caretaker of the binary wire manufacturing machines and was an important part of the success of the production of Coded Wire Tags. For the past 8 years, Alan built, operated, and repaired AutoFish Systems at our facility in Anacortes .

Alan was a faithful employee to NMT and always strived for excellence in our production. His friendly smile, good humor, and superior workmanship will be missed here at NMT as he makes his retirement home in Arizona.

Alan can be reached at alan.healey@verizon.net
